News Bulletin Schedule

Chelmsford Radio 107.7 broadcasts local news and sport at the following times:-

Weekdays: Hourly from 0600 to 1800 and on the half hour during weekday breakfast at 0630, 0730 and 0830.

Weekends: Hourly from 0800 to 1100

Local news is produced in-house and comprises a mix of local items and the main national/international stories at the time.

National news bulletins are broadcast on the hour at other times.

Recent Programming Highlights

Chelmsford Radio 107.7 is dedicated to providing entertaining, informative, and local radio for Chelmsford and surrounding areas. Some of the recent highlights include 'Who Wants To Be A Miller On Air' - our search for an entrepreneur with a grand business plan. In the end we selected three ideas that we wanted to take forward and develop in a number of ways. This competition was run in conjunction with the radio station's parent company, Stockvale Ltd. We have reintoruced our 'Sunday Live' programme which features interviews with local people who have a story to tell.

Recent News Highlights

Chelmsford Radio has covered a multitude of stories since going on air. Major stories recently have including the jailing of the former leader of Essex County Council over his parliamentary expenses claims as well as major redevelopment projects in Chelmsford and Southend. Developments at Stansted and Southend airports have also featured prominently.

How To Complain

Any complaints made are logged immediately with an acknowledgement receipt issued to the complainant within 24 hours. The details are then passed on to the relevant department. We will aim to resolve any complaint within 10 working days. If under any circumstances a solution to the complaint can not be agreed, a further complaint can be made with Ofcom. For advertising complaints, if we can not find a solution, the complaint can be taken up with ASA.
